Eurostar Tank and Collector Information

The EUROSTAR's tank has an external casing of mild steel with white plastic high temperature oven treatment for absolute protection from rain, sun and sea air. Maximum durability and a (stunning) smart appearance are the results.
FREON FREE polyurethane insulation is casted under pressure in the tank surrounding the cylinder and maintaining hot water up to 48 hours. The EUROSTAR is the only ECO-FRIENDLY thermosiphon solar water heater completely made up from material that can be recycled. SOLE's respect for the environment starts from the production stage.
The closed circuit double jacket is powerful mild steel 1.5 mm and the large area of heat exchanging makes the EUROSTAR the quickest water heater of any other solar system. At the same time this protects the product from rust, scale and freezing. So whether the EUROSTAR is working in very hot climates or extremely cold areas with temperatures quite below zero or even with poor water quality containing a lot of minerals (iron, calcium, etc), it will be just efficient and reliable.
The boiler is made of 3 mm low carbon steel with a double "duroglass" coating oven treated at 1,000oC. The EUROSTAR can withstand water pressure up to 3,000 Kpa (30AT or 440psi). This resistance to high pressures makes the EUROSTAR 5 times more resistant to time than any other solar system in the international market.
The pure magnesium anode protection effectively protects the cylinder from electrolysis. The EUROSTAR will never experience internal corrosion of the cylinder.
Very cloudy days are no problem for the EUROSTAR. You will still have plenty of hot water thanks to the backup electric heater.
The thermostat with built in safety features has the sensor immersed in the water and regulates with absolute precision the desired temperature of the hot water.

The EUROSTAR's collector casing is made of specially designed extruded aluminum profile, without any external connections, screws, nuts or rivets. It has a special slot for the rubber sealing making it 100% watertight. At the same time the powerful support system will resist any weather conditions even typhoons.
The 5 cm foamed polyurethane insulation on the back and sides of the collector will maintain very good temperatures and along with the other technical characteristics the EUROSTAR achieve by far the highest efficiency of any other system on the market.
The absorber is panel type with maximum flow of primary liquid, giving 50% higher efficiency than any absorber with tubes and fins in the market, because the wetted surface of the EUROSTAR absorber is 5 times greater. The sun's rays are absorbed by the whole absorber and transferred directly on the primary liquid.
The primary heliothermic liquid developed by SOLE is in contact with the whole surface of the panel and receives the sun's ray directly. With this the EUROSTAR achieves maximum transfer of heat to water in the boiler and the same time protects the collector from scale, rust, freezing and overheating. The EUROSTAR's "heliothermic liquid" will last for life time without needing to be replaced.
The collector's glazing is 3 mm low iron solar tempered glass. It is fully transparent so it ensures maximum penetration of the sun's rays and since it is oven treated in 1,200 oC it has maximum endurance against faulty handling. At the same time it allows you to see the superiority of the EUROSTAR's unlike competitors who use semi-transparent glazing for obvious reasons.
A special EPDM rubber profile fixes the glass in its place and ensures 100% water and vapor sealing. The rubber profile engulfs the aluminum profile on the top and sides of the collector protecting it from damages during transportation, stocking or installation. This is just another detail proving how carefully designed the EUROSTAR is.
A special slot on the back of the aluminum profile allows easy installation on:
1. Tiled roofs: the EUROSTAR special accessories eliminate the necessity to break or drill holes on the roof.
2. Flat roofs: the optional set of supports for flat roofs makes installation just as simple. This aesthetic feature once more proves the superiority of the EUROSTAR's design. There are no visible unattractive connections on the sides or the bottom of the collector.
